Welcome!
Filmmaker David Birdsell made an excellent video for Artichoke! Thanks to Thomas and Gerry for assisting with many long hot hours of shooting on July 3rd and 4th.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the kickstarter campaign for the next record, “Etchy Sketchy Skies.” I’m working on the paintings for the big spenders. Seriously — thanks! (While we’re on the subject of art, Timothy and Allison have a show coming up of their paintings and photographs on March 10 at 7PM at the Future Studio in Highland Park. It’s under Chicken Boy. Google for more!)
Artichoke’s most recent album “Bees” is not to be missed. it’s 13 indie pop songs from the lives of bees, performed by humans playing acoustic guitars, drums, bass, theremin, accordion, and vocal cords. “26 Animals” is the first kids record by Timothy Sellers and his northeast Los Angeles indie pop band Artichoke. It is an alphabet of groovy songs that comes with a full-color, hardcover 8”x8” songbook. The songbook contains complete lyrics, chords, and Timothy’s watercolor illustrations of each animal. NOTE: WE ARE SOLD OUT OF BOOKS UNTIL CASH IS RAISED TO PRINT MORE. But the CD is still available.
Check out a few samples of songs from the record at this website or the artichoke myspace.
