“Melissa” is about the childhood of the Greek god Zeus, raised by a beekeeping shepherd on the island of Crete. The song is from Artichoke’s “Bees” album. This video was shot by David Birdsell and Timothy Sellers in downtown Los Angeles and its river in July of 2011. They covered many miles and many shirts with a camera mounted on a wheelchair. Then David did an ungodly amount of editing, and — voila!

Musicians: Timothy Sellers, David Hurlin, Steve Collins, Daniel Leyson, Antonia Romeo, Christian Gonzalez, Anna Hollingsworth.
