Jackie sold his mother’s milking cow
for a couple magic beans
she was very angry she threw them all
out the window
early in the morning the sun was bright
shining on the glossy leaves
growing up to heaven Jackie climbed
out the window yeah

tricked an ogre’s wife
she saved his life
he stole her old man’s gold
Jackie and his mother did all right
living off of stolen gold
finally they spent it every cent
Jackie climbed again
right up to the sky
tricked an ogre’s wife
she saved his life
he stole her old man’s goose
Jackie and his mother spent their time
gathering the golden eggs
but Jackie wasn’t feeling satisfied
so he climbed again
right up to the sky
avoiding the ogre’s wife
he stole their harp and
cut the bean stalk down
